1. Structure and Organization of Adapted Sport This area will include and discuss several models of adapted sport organization from its basis to high competition levels, specially the paralympic organization models. To that end, it will consist of two different thematic sections:

2. Training and Research in Adapted Physical Activity and Sport This area will present and discuss several training models, as well as the resources and curricular designs required for a good development of adapted sports and physical activity. It will also deal with the latest researches into this matter, which are reaching a high scientific level at the start of the 21st century. The area consists of two thematic sections:

3. Intervention Areas and New Environments of Sport Practices for Disabled People Different intervention areas of physical activity and sport, as well as new environments for their development, will be dealt with in this area. The aim is promoting the inclusion and normalization of disabled people into new practices and a variety of social environments. It will consist of two specific sections::

4. Health Issues of Adapted Physical Activity and Sport This area will discuss the many different roles health sciences and its professionals can play in the development of adapted physical activity and sport, as a tool for the improvement of their participants' health. To this end, the area includes the following two thematic sections:

5. The Social Response to Disabled Athletes This area will deal with different social structures promoting the development and inclusion of adapted physical activity and sport in a normalizing society respecting diversity. In accordance with the philosophy of these lectures and seminars organized by the Fundacion AndalucÃa OlÃmpica, the final part of the conference will be devoted to the true and only raison d'être of this organization: disabled people and the social respect and equality they deserve. To this end, it will consist of the following sections:
